Benz Primus has contributed 900,000 baht to the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, generated from the charity golf tournament “Primus Pro-Am Charity Invitation,” celebrating its second anniversary in collaboration with the Thai LPGA. The event provided Mercedes-Benz customers with a luxurious experience while competing against top female professional golfers at Riverdale Golf Club from November 16-19, 2021. The charity tournament aimed to raise funds for the Siriraj Hospital’s fund to assist underprivileged patients.
The company’s donation included an additional 100% contribution on top of the registration fees collected from participants, totaling 900,000 baht. Presenting the donation were Mr. Natavuth Tangkaravakoon, President, Mr. Jirapol Rujivipat, Managing Director, and Mr. Sarawit Chaimangkorn, General Manager of Sales at Primus Autohaus, who officially presented the funds to Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean, and Associate Professor Dr. Narit Kijjanarong, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communications and Community Activities at Siriraj Hospital.
Mr. Tangkaravakoon stated, “The Primus Pro-Am Charity Invitation is organized in collaboration with Primus Autohaus, the official Mercedes-Benz dealer, and the Thai LPGA, featuring an exclusive tournament format over four days with only six teams per day. Registration is set at 5,000 baht per person, allowing participants to contribute to the purchase of essential medical equipment for underprivileged patients at Siriraj Hospital.”
“I am very pleased with the success of our inaugural charity golf tournament, as Mercedes-Benz customers enthusiastically participated in the event. We are committed to providing the best experiences for our customers, with professional tournament activities and award ceremonies recognizing individual and team winners, as well as longest drive and nearest to the pin challenges. Every evening was filled with friendship and admirable memories, as participants enjoyed a special dinner with Benz Primus executives and professional golfers while making a positive impact on our community,” Mr. Tangkaravakoon concluded.
